The Skagit Valley Tulip Festival is one of the destination events for the Pacific Northwest, held from April 1-30, celebrating millions of tulips bursting into bloom. As with all things in nature, the tulips bloom according to their own schedule sometime during the festival. The tulips allow us to share our corner of the world and showcase Skagit Valley agriculture.
The festival is designed as a driving tour as there is no one "site" to enter. The fields of tulips are scattered throughout the Skagit Valley as are the many events and activities that comprise the festival. and Tulip Town. Due to crop rotation, the fields are in different locations each year. Both RoozenGaarde and Tulip Town also have displays of tulips in gardens for visitors to view and photograph.
This 6-hour Skagit Valley Tulip Festival tour starts with a pickup from downtown Seattle at 8 am. We will make our first stop at Tulip Town and enjoy the beautiful blooming tulips and the wonderful smells found throughout the entire region this time of the year. At the festival, you can explore the 1,000 acres of tulip-covered grounds, enjoy the beautiful colors, and take awesome pictures of these blooming beauties.
Next, we will visit the wonderful town of La Conner, allowing you to enjoy some free time for creating more special moments and enjoying a tasty lunch. You can also browse boutiques, visit one of the village’s museums, or go on a nature walk in search of wildlife.
Afterward, we will prepare for a relaxing trip back to Seattle.

RoozenGaarde was established in 1985 by the Roozen family and Washington Bulb Company, Inc. The Roozen family business of growing Tulips, Daffodils and Irises is the largest in the world, covering Skagit Valley with more than 1000 acres of field blooms and 16 acres of greenhouses.
Each fall, the 3 acre show garden is planted with around three hundred thousand spring-flowering bulbs, providing a gorgeous display of color during the early weeks of spring. RoozenGaarde is an official Sponsor of the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. Welcome hundreds of thousands of visitors, from all over the country and from around the world, to our garden and store during the festival.
